Our trip to the prison craft store on the outskirts of Valladolid was the beginning of an instant friendship with Honorio Caamal Kuyoc, who was working at the store.  He graciously took us to the local dry cenote in his town, and then to meet his family.

in Akumal, QRoo, Mexico.

 

In January, the children of Akumal will make a peace project

and send it to the Davis YMCA as part of this international

peace exchange.
